Gowarikar's Swades and Farha Khan's Main Hoon Na.

Chalte after suffering great losses in Asoka?

Shahrukh_khan> I've always wanted to do different films, films with
meaning. And all three offerings of mine, I feel, were different and
interesting. Phir Bhi was an out and out fun film, Asoka was a
historical subject and Chalte Chalte takes a serious look at
relationships.

amira> Which is your favourite song in Chalte Chalte?

Shahrukh_khan> I like Sunona Sunona very much but Ghumshuda has a lot
of energy in it. However, as producer, I will tell you that I like
all the songs.

supriyaaa> Who is your favourite actor and actress?

Shahrukh_khan> My favourite actor other than SRK is Dilip Saab and of
course Amitji. As for the heroines, I think that is a sensitive
question. I want to live.

rani> What is your dream role?

Shahrukh_khan> Anything that excites me.

amira> Are you going to do any horror movies?

Shahrukh_khan> Only if I get the lead role as the Bhoot.

Shahrukh_khan> Whatever is working at the box-office at that moment.

Shahrukh_khan> Whenever a show, a shooting or an invitation calls me.

Shahrukh_khan> Far too many.

starisborn> When you were in hospital, than how did you finish your
movie Chalte Chalte?

Shahrukh_khan> I completed the film after which I went to London for
an operation and then I flew back to India for the post production.
Now I am back in London for my physiotherapy and my movie is
releasing tomorrow by the grace of God and hopefully, it should do
well.

anmol> What is the raaz of your energy? One always hears you are
always on the move and hyper of what keeps you going?

Shahrukh_khan> It's just me. I am grateful to God that I can
channelise that energy into entertainment for all of you.

ikra> As an actor you play so many different characters. What's about
your own character? Can you keep it apart from your roles?

Shahrukh_khan> An actor has to keep his real and reel lives apart. I
can't be the characters I play. In the sense I can't be a killer or
an obsessive man or a psychopath in real life but I can do that on
screen. Likewise, the real Shah Rukh is different from his characters.

phoenix_girl> If you were given a chance to play a character in a
Harry Potter movie, who would you want to play?

Shahrukh_khan> I would love to play a grown up version of Harry
Potter with a lot of songs, dances and adult scenes thrown in. Let's
just say Moulin Rouge meets Devdas meets Harry.

nitin_srk> Will you accept any negative roles ahead?

Shahrukh_khan> I've done them in the past and I don't mind doing them
again if the script is right.



vidyesh> Do you still repent leaving Laagan?

Shahrukh_khan> It was unfortunate that I couldn't do Lagaan for a
variety of reasons but I'm happy I shall be working with Ashutosh
Gowarikar in Swades which has a great subject.

atomicjelly73> Who are you favourite co-stars? With whom do you enjoy
working most?

Shahrukh_khan> I've enjoyed working with Shah Rukh Khan in Duplicate.
He makes a great co-star in a double role.

Shahrukh_khan> She takes a lot of decisions but in consultation with
me. Ultimately, women do have a better aesthetic sense.

Shahrukh_khan> I've done Hey Ram for whatever it was worth. I just
know Hindi and English so that's the problem doing regional films.

Shahrukh_khan> I haven't seen the movie. I hope he doesn't copy me.

Shahrukh_khan> At home I have a BMW and of course a Santro.

Shahrukh_khan> Mannat means in Urdu: It's when you wish for
something, so it's a nice name for a house.

Shahrukh_khan> I like a lot of them I like Sachin, I like Saurav's
fighting spirit, Harbhajan is funny, I liked the Pepsi ad, Rahul
Dravid and Kaif are good too.

Shahrukh_khan> I liked It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. It's my
favourite.

is the favourite author?

Shahrukh_khan> Douglas Adams, his book the Hitchhiker's Guide to the
Galaxy is my favourite.


supriyaaa> What do you do in your free time?

Shahrukh_khan> I play with my kids and now I've just finished playing
a video game based on Matrix.

current favourite?

Shahrukh_khan> I play on the play station too. I just finished
Matrix. I just played the Grand Auto Theft.

didn't want to do it then.

Shahrukh_khan> No I don't do kissing scenes. Most of the people who
know me know that. I'm shy.

Shahrukh_khan> I don't enjoy it too much. I don't hate it, but I am
not a very good swimmer.

Shahrukh_khan> Do you get sick of your own name? Do you change it
every year?

Shahrukh_khan> I don't get to watch TV. Now with choice but my kids
watch cartoon network, so I'll get to like it now.

Shahrukh_khan> No, not really. I've been suffering from a bad back
for the last year and a half.

Shahrukh_khan> Yes, my first serial in Bombay was two episodes of
Wagle Ki Duniya.

Shahrukh_khan> I think now just to do good work.
