Shah Rukh Khan > If you don't hold malice towards anyone, your face will not show the age, I genuinely believe in it. Malice makes us ugly.

Shah Rukh Khan > No, I hardly eat. I am not very good with diet, diet plans exercise etc. Honestly, I lead a very ordinary life.

Shah Rukh Khan > He hasn't seen it as yet. He will be watching it in another 2-3 days. But, when he met me, he hugged me. He is a magnanimous person.

Shah Rukh Khan > When I come home I don't do anything. I feel very focussed on the sets. I write a lot of sub-texts of my characters that I play in my films. But do not do any homework as such.

Shah Rukh Khan > I am very stylised. The style that I have has done me well. And if it's Dilip Sahab's or anybody's, so be it. Have you ever seen Dilip Kumar's films?

Shah Rukh Khan > They were very gracious and kind.

Tonyu > Any plans of joining the Hollywood? And taking Devdas to the Oscars?
Shah Rukh Khan > There is no plan like this. Devdas will go to the Oscars (if it does) on its own merits. As for me, I am very happy working here. I have no plans to go to Hollywood.

Shah Rukh Khan > No, she doesn't.

Shah Rukh Khan > That nobody's going to be happy for the rest of their lives. The fact that a small mistake in love leads to the tragedy. Actually there is an adolescence state of mind in this film.

Shah Rukh Khan > These are all character names. It's not the name I enjoy. It is what I do with (those) characters that matters. I have enjoyed playing all four names mentioned here.

Shah Rukh Khan > Yes, it has. It's the director's interpretation. But, it's not a crime. It's all right. Somebody has shown interest in a one hundred years old novel and made a film on it. It's the biggest complement to that novel.

Shah Rukh Khan > Yes, I saw it at Cannes with Gauri and she loved it. She was the first one who told me that it was a nice film.

Shah Rukh Khan > I really enjoyed. The character is fanstatic. I hope it is not my best effort. I hope I can do better. I'll never get a character like this.

Shah Rukh Khan > I have 5-6 very old friends. I enjoy being with Karan Johar, Kajol, Madhuri, Johny Lever Subhash Ghai and lots of them.

Shah Rukh Khan > I am doing a small role in Shakti, Sridevi's first production. I haven't signed a full length film. I have not signed anything for last two and a half years.

Shah Rukh Khan > Two things I never expect one commercial success and second award for a film. When I get them it's good. If you go for either of the two, you get neither.

Shah Rukh Khan > With due respect to the makers, it's one of the finest characters written. Sketches are very celar. `Devdas' is a winner all the way in terms of characterisation.

Shah Rukh Khan > You know, there was another girl in the kotha. I would go for her.

Shah Rukh Khan > I really don't know. It is debatable. Unfortunately, these are two facets a man wants in a woman. It's a man's dream.

Shah Rukh Khan > No, I'll never be a part of politics and direction also. It's a very lonely job. Being an actor is fine with me.

Shah Rukh Khan > Dunno. It's the times we are all brought in. Dilip saab was flawless. To me he is the most flawless actor in the world. Only my intepretation is different.
