Some films that are made with a huge cast and great zeal but are blocked in the pipeline due to reasons best known to the makers. Such is the case of producer R.G Nayyar's Yeh lamhe judaai ke that stars Shah Rukh Khan opposite Raveena Tandon with many refined actors. The movie is now being readied for release after almost spending a decade in the making. YLJK is a love story entwined with aspirations, deception, suspense and emotional drama.

The story: There are four childhood pals Dushyant (Shah Rukh Khan), Jaya (Raveena Tandon), Nisha (Navneet Nishan) and Sujit (Mohnish Behl). Dushyant and Jaya are very much in love and she helps Dushyant to make true his dream of becoming a singer which does happen with the course of time. Success never comes alone it brings name, fame, wealth and loads of responsibilities the same happens to Dushyant. He gets so busy and tied up in his work that he distance creeps into their relationship. Taking advantage of the situation so called friends Sujit and Nisha plot to detach the lovers as the two plan to use Dushyant's money for their own good. Nisha's father Kamlesh Dhingra (Avtaar Gill) seeks money for his enterprise from Dushyant by getting his daughter married to him. All goes well according to the plan frame by Nisha, Sujit and Nisha's father when Dushyant learns the truth about then...

Suddenly one day Sujit is found dead and enters officer Rahul I (Amit Kumar) to invesigate the murder and very soon Nisha is also murdered. Just when Rahul is trying to collect the piece s of this mystery Dhingra is also murdered.

Who is behind the murders of Sujit, Nisha and Dhingra? And is it Dushyant who has plotted his revenge from the three? Or is it someone else? What happened to Jaya will she ever get back with Dushyant?

YLJK is a murder mystery but taken into account the years it took to complete this might just not turn out to be a major crowd puller due to the time factor. Though it stars Shah Rukh Khan and Raveena their face value holds a meek chance of doing any good to the film and the producer.
